We are spending about four nights in Ticino. But we curtail it by two nights. we want suggestions as whether we should travel southwards in Italy for two days; may be upto Milan? If Milan is too touristy what else we have in that area? we are interested in walking, swimming and photography. Please help.

Milan is not too touristy but it is a busy, business-oriented city. If your photography interests include big-city sights and the rooftop spires of the flamboyant Gothic-style Milan Duomo, then those would be your reasons to go.
