Has anyone taken the Centovalli Train from Locarno and made it round-trip with the Lake Maggiore Express? I'm wondering if you can hop on and off the lake boat to visit Isola Bella etc.? The website is a bit unclear to me.

Round trip from where?
If you are staying in Stresa or Baveno the Borromean Islands boats go from there - for Isola Bella and the other 2.
That's a completely separate boat to the one from Locarno
