Thoughts on itinerary May31-June 11

This is myself and my son. It is a very rough draft of last minute trip but need a good starting point that I know is correct to build off of. How does this look so far? Any suggestions you have are gladly welcomed. We will be using the train for all travel while there. Any thing we’ve missed, etc? Thanks so much.

Day 0 - Arrival: Arrive in Zurich by plane in the morning, train to Lucerne, check into hotel unwind/explore the city a bit.

Lucerne 2 nights
Day 1 - Zurich: train to Zurich…Visit the Lindt Chocolate Factory, explore the city. Any other ideas would be great?

Day 2 - explore Lucerne. Check out the chapel bridge, lion monument, Musegg wall. Mt Rigi boat and cable car, beautiful sunset and sunrise.

Day 3 - travel by train to Wengen. Check into hotel (next 3 days will be spent in Wengen area)

Day 4 - Mannlichen/Jungfraujoch: Head up to Mannlichen and do the panoramic walk down to Kleine Scheidegg. From there travel up to Jungfraujoch.

Day 5 - Train to Lauterbrunnen > walk to Stechelberg > cable car up to Schilthorn > Birg Thrill Walk > Murren > walk down to Gimmelwald > cable car to Stechelberg > bus or walk back to Lauterbrunnen (stop at Trummelbach Falls on the way out) >wengen

Day 6 - Grindelwald: Go to Grindelwald and do the hike from First to Bachalpsee, then ride the First mountain cart to the bottom. Explore the town of Grindelwald as well.

Day 7-9 travel to Zematt by train, check into hotel

Day 8 Matterhorn Paradise
****Gornergrat to Riffelberg hike (MUST DO amazing trail) 3 miles long and you see two alpine lakes

Day 9 Montreux day trip, take train, walk center of Montreux to Villeneuve, walk the lake and see Chillon Castle Chateau.

Day 10 back to Zurich by train, check into hotel

Day 11 fly home
