Thoughts ideas on a Lauterbrunnen Valley - Lake Como 12 day Itinerary

Hi, I am seeking thoughts and ideas from people who have vacationed in this area to plan the best trip and not make rookie mistakes. We don't plan on straying too far out of this area. We do plan on leaving Switzerland to wrap up in the Lake Como for the last 3 days of a 12-day vacation. Arriving June 5th leaving on June 16th.

Where is the best place to stay? We're thinking Murren.
Where do we fly in an out of?
Can we do the entire trip by train?

Places we'd like to hit: Oeschinensee Panorama Hike, Aare Gorge/Meringen, Grindewald - First Cliff Walk.

I didn't know if Fronalpstock (Stoos Ridge Hike) would be too far out of the way if we were based out of the Lauterbrunnen area.

Does the Valley offer better hikes or just as beautiful views as what I've listed above where I can pass on the above and hit other spots I don't even know about that are closer? We'll have at least 6 full days here then off to Lake Como. Haven't quite figured out when to leave Lauterbrunnen to get to Lake Como and then back to whatever airport we fly out of to get home in time.

I know this is very vague. This is day one of me trying to plan this trip. Thanks.

How about into Zurich and out of Milan?
As soon as you land in Zurich, it's easy to go straight to Lucerne, it's an 1+ hour easy train ride.
There are ongoing debates here regarding staying in Murren vs Wengen. Do a Search here and enjoy the animated discussion. There is some construction in Murren near the gondola.
You could travel to Pontressina for a night, catching the Bernina Express regional train to Tirano, Italy. In Tirano, switch to the Italian train station , and travel to Varenna, Lake Como.
Milan Central is an hour train from Varenna.
You have some beautiful places you plan to explore, some of my favorites.
I'd suggest firming up an itinerary asap, as lodging will already be in short supply for summer.
You could flip the trip and fly into Milan and out of Zurich.
Have fun planning.

Into Zurich and out of Milan makes sense if you want to do Lake Como.

Yes, do everything by train.

There is plenty to keep you occupied in the Murren area without having to do a long day trip for the Stoos hike. Watch YouTube videos on Oberberghorn from Schynigge Platte, Brienzer Rothorn, North Face Hike counterclockwise from Allmendhubel to Murren, Panorama Walk from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg, Schilthorn & Birg to Grauseeli, First to Bachalpsee, ebiking the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Lake Thun, Lake Brienz, Ballenberg Museum, Aare Gorge, etc. etc.

Murren is lovely and it’s where we spend our summers. Wengen has a few more shops & is a bit more convenient for day trips, so not a bad option to look into.

Another option if you just want to enjoy a
European lake but don’t absolutely have to do Como is to simplify and do something like Luzern instead of Lake Como. For that, fly in and out of Zurich.

How about flying into Zurich, go straight to Lucerne.
Of course, onto the BO.
Then conclude with Lake Como, and fly out of Milan.
Both lake areas are different , beautiful, charming and worth visiting.
Have a great trip!
