Planned a sledding expedition but weather and snow seem like a bust. Many of the routes are closed or not ideal conditions per the sledding sites.
Any last minute ideas for this weekend?

Viva Las Vegas!
Wengen-Mannlichen is showing 27 km of sledging runs open. Snow does seem very sparse for this time of year (10"-24") but Feb 28 is showing snow in the forecast.
Thanks for the nudge Sam!
We were going to do the descent from the Faulhorn via Bussalp to Grindelwald but much of it was listed as closed. Your info prompted us to check out sledging on Männlichen. This area has much more snow cover as it seemed to be in a shadier side of the mountain.
Even better it was children's day. Our two kids were free plus 30 for the sled rental. I believe my wife and mine with sleds included was 78. I'd pay that much for one adult ski ticket at a big mountain.
I had a pretty sweet F1 style sweeping tight turn followed by an equally spectacular wipe out but we avoided obstacles, other sledders, hikers, and dogs thankfully. It was a fun day. I've skied some tough terrain out west at some pretty big mountains but i'd put today's adventure alongside them.
Thanks again.
