Things to do in Geneva

We are starting a month-long trip next week visiting Switzerland, Italy, and France. The trip begins in Geneva. We will be staying there for two days. Do you have any recommendations for things to do? The first day is a travel day from the States so only the afternoon is available. Are there good city tours or boat tours you recommend? Thank you.

Your hotel should provide you with a free transport pass which you can use to ride buses, trams etc. you can email them and they will send you the electronic pass a day or two before your visit. You can then use the pass to ride on the yellow transport boats on the lake. Use google to find the website for Geneva tourism and that will give you all the info.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Patek Philippe watch museum and I’m not a museum person (price was 10 euros last year)
I also crossed into France (take one of the local buses) and then rode the gondola up the mountain. Can see all of Geneva, can do a short hike and see the paragliders launch

You should be able to find all the details on the Geneva website. Sorry I can’t help with tour recommendations since I prefer to explore on my own.
