the Bernina Express and the glacier Express

We took a day of from skiing this past March to ride the Bernina Express from Klosters/Davos to Tirano for lunch. We returned via the Sagliains to Klosters Vereina 19 km long tunnel to Klosters. We enjoyed the train ride with the outbound travelling through dramatic winter snowscapes. I would say that we had a blue sky day making for dramatic snowscapes. Others in our group did the Bernina Express a day earlier during intermittent snow events and were equally happy with the experience.

We just did the Bernina Express in June. Our first thought was we would love to do it in the winter at some point. If you look on youtube you can see how amazing in looks in the Winter. Why wouldn't it be a good idea?

We did it after Christmas a couple of years ago and loved it! There was not a ton of snow, but enough to give definition to the landscape. We got lucky with a bright, clear day.
