For those familiar with the CBS tv show, the Amazing Race, next Wednesday’s episode will start in St. Gallen, Switzerland after a 19 month break due to Covid.
So far this season, they have been in London and Glasgow.

I'm looking forward to the Switzerland episodes and also Portugal. I believe they'll be in Lugano also. Apparently the team lineup changed when they reconvened after the break, but I don't know the details.

Of course CBS isn't really broadcast here in the UK.
So I had a look at the trial I have of Amazon Prime and there are seasons of Amazing Race going all the way back to 2011 - every single one of them marked unavailable....

Ken, I haven’t watched in years, but am looking forward to the European locations this season, most especially Switzerland.

I did a test run to see if I could watch the episodes on the CBS website, but got the same message that you likely got.... "not authorized to view in your location". I wonder if a VPN would work?

thx Ken, I probably have enough in the can to keep me busy for a year or so, 3xPVRs all about 80%, so I don't think I'll fork out for a VPN for a while....
By the way I see that Slingbox are still running on a shoestring for a short while longer. Now THAT I could use still working...

One year they went to Stechelberg (in the Lauterbrunnen Valley) and did a challenge where they had to roll rounds of cheese down a hill and run after them. Was great to see such a small place that I had been before.

Darren, thanks for the info. I just looked on-line at that was from season 14 episode 1, and it’s available for purchase on Amazon (at least in the US). I also found another Switzerland episode—season 18 , episode 9. I just bought them both. Yes, I’m a little obsessed with Switzerland. 😊
