Watched the first episode, what fabulous scenery and camera work with the animals! Forgot to DVR the 2nd episode on our local PBS station though. We live near Mt Rainier and it will always be our favorite mountain, but the Alps are just breathtaking.

I watched the first one, but haven't watched the second one yet. I was surprised to see frogs in the snow!!

Thanks for the link, FastEddie. We watched both last night. Awesome photography. We missed watching it live because it was preempted in our area by the inaugural coverage.

I saw the 2nd one this week and it was good...looking for the 1st one to catch it on repeat. I did NOT know they had Brown Bears in the Alps. Very interesting.

On PBS shows, I recently started using their PBS Passport streaming service. In the past I'd just donate a flat amount every year. I'd loose track of the subscription date and hence their newsletters would stop coming so I'd miss out on shows. Also my dvr wouldn't always record things I'd set up. Now I can catch the shows when I want and even binge watch. For example, all the new All Creatures Great and Small episodes are available. It's $5 a month.

Thanx for the show recommendation. I just added it to my watch list along with the RS Alps episodes.
