I am working on a new trip for 2019 (Normandy and Holland) but I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone on this forum that helped with my itinerary for our recent trip that included Switzerland.
A special shout out to Shoe!
We had a spectacular 9 days in Murren. Originally we were only booked for 4 nights but I had left 2 open after so we then extended it to 6 nights, but I still could not leave the Alps so I canceled Bern and extended Murren again for another 3 nights= 9!
Hotel Belvedere was so accommodating and comfortable, I highly recommend. We were upgraded to wonderful room with views of the mountains. We got lucky, and enjoyed the cow parade, which was a once in a lifetime thrill. Hiked every day and just enjoyed the panoramic views.

This is so great to hear! We spent a week in Lauterbrunnen this year, our third time staying a week or more, and we wish we had planned for two weeks despite our repeat visits. (We have also had two 4-night stays in the Jungfrau Region.) It is a special place.

It's great to hear that you had such a wonderful trip to the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Many of us here can certainly understand your desire to extend your time in Mürren.

Ha!! Have not started planning trip back there yet, but it is certainly in our future. Right now working on trip to Normandy and Holland for April!
