My husband and I just returned from a two week trip thru Switzerland by train. We stayed in Zurich, Lugano, Luzern, Lauterbrunnen, and Lausanne. It was wonderful. We got a lot of good ideas from folks on the forum and Rick Steve's guidebook. We'll be singing praises for a long time to come. Thank you all who responded to our questions. Safe travels.

Our favorite hotel was Hotel Silberhorn. We had a valley view room, and the view was spectacular with the mountains and the 900ft. waterfall. The Grutschalp walk to Murren was beautiful, and the lunch outside at Hotel Edelweiss had amazing views. In Zurich we enjoyed eating at the Zeughauskeller where we ate family style with 3 other couples. It was a fun experience. Thank you for a great adventure.
