Tell Pass Lucerne

I will be in Lucerne for 2 full days and wondering if it is worth buying a 2 day Tell pass. I will be able to get a visitors card from my hotel which seems to cover quite a bit. I plan to visit Mt Rigi, Mt Pilatus and travel the Cogwheels boat trips etc. Would it be more economical just to pay as I go.
The Tell Pass is 190 CHF for 2 days. Is it necessary to buy online beforehand or can I purchase it when I arrive in Lucerne
Thanks

The guest card only covers local buses in Luzern city, but it does give a lot of discounts for various attractions.

You do not have to buy the Tell Pass until you arrive in Luzern. Whether it pays, you'll have to add up the prices of what you want to do. When is this trip planned for?

From your other posts, looks like you will be in Switzerland 1st week of October. Right now, you can buy a Saver Day Pass for 61 CHF. That will give you unlimited travel for the day in Switzerland. It must be for the particular day you purchase it for, and the price increases as you get closer to that day, so buy it now. It will include all the boats on the lake in Luzern plus the Rigibahn to Mt Rigi. It does not include Mt Pilatus, so do that on a different day and pay as you go.
