Hello
We will need a Taxi from MOTEL ONE BASEL BARFUSSERGASSE 16, we have to be at the airport at 4:30 am.
I am wondering if there is a taxi stand close to the hotel?
Or which taxi you would recommend to use?
Is it hard to get a taxi at that time of night?

Yes, there is a taxi stand at Barfüsserplatz (where the hotel is located). There is a list of rough price estimates and taxi companies here https://www.basel.com/en/arrival-getting-around/taxis. I'd ask the hotel if they can call and make a reservation for you, just so you have a confirmed taxi. Not sure if I would wing it at 4am.
If you're not set on Motel One, you could also look at prices for a hotel at the train station. The airport bus 50 leaves from the station starting at 4:10 am, which would get you there on time and would be free with the public transport card you will get at the hotel.
If you use Uber, that is also an option in Basel.
