Maybe this should be in the trip reports section but since it is all Switzerland I am putting it here….did not realize you can only post in one place….oh well…….flew from Nashville last Friday…….no problem…..checked vac card and of course passport….feel sorry for the Delta agents as it looks like “what to check” is left up to them according to the country you are in……very patient gal that helped a lot. Flew to Detroit, plane half full…….did a facial scan there before getting on the international flight, did not ask to see anything but boarding pass……plane 3/4 full and comfortable. Mask wearing and all seemed fine with that. Landed in Amsterdam…….crazy full airport…..COVID??????……..masks everywhere………flight from Amsterdam to Zurich was LOADED and crammed in like sardines…….too full for my comfort and so glad it was only an hour! Landed, got the train to Lauterbrunnen and it was not full at all…..very comfortable. Checked in here with documents and all is well……seeing some Americans but as many as usual…..so glad to be out and HERE! PS……hope Carrie is home safe and not missing the cows too much! No cow parade yet but a goat parade!!!!

Welcome to Lauterbrunnen! It is remarkably quiet isn’t it? There is a cow parade scheduled for Saturday, I think at noon. The TI should have the details. Enjoy this great fall weather! We are in our last 4 days of a month here and a bit sad to leave but we move on to Italy so excited for that!
