We are planning a trip for June or July 2025 with a few couples. We will fly in and out of Zurich and spend 2-3 nights in Lauterbrunnen. That leaves us 2-3 days to stay in another city. Recommendations? Opinions on June vs July (flights are significantly cheaper in July for some reason)? We are renting a car so anywhere within a few hours is game.

Is this your first visit to Switzerland?
What are your plans? Hiking/mountains, or a mix with cities?
Maybe Montreux/Vevey area for a taste of French Switzerland?
Keep in mind that Switzerland gets HOT in the summers, and AC is not common.

July is better for hiking as many high altitude trails will not be open until then.

With luggage this maybe 2 cars, or at least a large van.
