Switzerland Trip 6Night/7Days

Hi,
My wife & I are heading to Switzerland in late February 2018. We are gonna be there for 7 days. I posted here earlier where I got a basic idea of what all location to cover. We are interested in good sight seeing, trekking, and just romantic views and walks.
So we have come up with the following plan:-

Day 1: Arrive in Zurich: Early morning arrival - Transfer to Lucerne: Visit Chapel Bridge, old town, lake lucerne (Overnight in Lucerne)
Day 2: Lucerne: Do a day trip to Mt. Rigi & Mt. Pilatus (Overnight in Lucerne)
Day 3: Lucerne: Explore Lucerne, Transfer to Interlaken (Overnight in Lucerne)
Day 4: Interlaken: Local Exploration, Mt. First & Skydiving (Overnight in Interlaken)
Day 5: Interlaken: Jungfrau Day Trip, Hiking, Local exploration (Overnight in Interlaken)
Day 6: Interlaken: Visit Bernese Oberland Day Trip (Overnight in Interlaken)
Day 7: Zurich: Transfer to Zurich early morning and fly out late night

Are we going too slow?
Is there a way to squeeze in Bern?
How long do we need in Bernese Oberland?
Please free to suggest any changes or additions

Thanks in advance

Better to stay lodged in Grindelwaald or Murren or Lauterbrunnen these are all already in the Bernese Oberland including the Jungrau and Mt First, instead of going back and forth from Interlaken each day .Then you can just walk or short bus ride everywhere. Take a look at the map.

The sunset is really early in February so I can not see going to Bern but maybe on the sixth day. Just make that decision when you get there. People have different ideas of what is traveling too fast or slow.

You're plan looks reasonable to me, however I agree with the previous poster that you should base yourself in the Lauterbrunnen Valley vs. Interlaken. I'm also surprised they would offer sky diving in February....

It seems that tour companies who target the India travelers ALWAYS send them to stay in Interlaken. It is unfortunate for those who do not know that it's better to just transit THROUGH Interlaken and travel 20 more minutes to Lauterbrunnen. It's a WORLD of difference! Choose Lauterbrunnen or one of the surrounding alpine villages of Murren or Wengen as your base. Do not waste your time in Interlaken which is NOT in the alps.

Hey @Tim & @Jill,
Even I am not Inclined to stay at Interlaken. I will look into Lauterbrunnen. Are there some good hotels there with exceptional views/rooms?

Hi Jazz+Travels,
Where do you suggest we stay Grindelwaald or Murren or Lauterbrunnen?? Where can I get some nice views, walking areas, good hotels?? Any suggestions?

We've stayed in Wengen, Murren and Lauterbrunnen. They all have a different feel to them, which I imagine is even more different in the winter. I've only been in summer. Wengen seems a little more upscale than either Murren or Lauterbrunnen. I also think it leans more toward a "ski resort". We stayed at the hotel Baren there which we really enjoyed and had a nice room with a balcony and good view.

On the other side of the valley in Murren you can get some rooms with a fantastic view! It's a very different perspective than from Wengen, and in my opinion a much more interesting view, helped by the fact that it's a bit higher up. If I were going to stay in Murren I would do a search to find a hotel with a great view. We stayed at the Eiger Guesthouse in Murren which had a good view, but not nearly as good as some other hotels in the area.

Lauterbrunnen is on the valley floor, and really my preferred home base there as it's centrally located. The views are all looking up, but still good! We always stay at Hotel Staubbach with a south facing waterfall view room.
