I have Rick Steves travel book on Switzerland but would also like to read additional books before making plans. Any other books that I should consider?
thank you.

I always suggest a quick visit to a local library to check out their offerings. If they don't have Switzerland guides you can at least look at how each company presents their information. I personally like Lonely Planet guides but there are many other choices.
It’s hard to beat Rick Steves for the practical information. So, instead of an additional guidebook, I would recommend one or both of these:
Swiss Watching: Inside the Land of Milk and Money
Lend me your alphorn: Further tales of life in Switzerland (Amazon has a used copy) This book was recommended to me by a Swiss nun on the train from Basel to Interlaken.
I had all the Switzerland guidebooks a few years ago, and the ones, beside RS, that I have kept are Rough Guides, DK Eyewitness, and Michelin.
This site, by forum member shoe, is also a good resource:

I've got Fodors on my desk right now, you always need at least two books.
Although these days, all the hep kids use that internet thing. Youtube is chockful of videos, amateur and pro. I assume TikTok and Insta are as well, although they seem to focus on posing influencers.
