Switzerland train pass request

We are a family of 4(2 adults and two 11 year olds). We will be taking the train from Zurich to Wengen(staying in Wengen for 3 nights), and taking the train to Lucerne for 2 night with a final train ride to Zurich Airport.
We will be travelling towards the end of July.
Does a swiss rail pass make the most sense for these train connections as well as some additional lifts we will likely use in the mountains for some basic hikes?
Any recommendations?

The Swiss 1-Month Half Fare Card always seems to be the most cost effective deal.
A Swiss Pass gives you free travel on trains, but only 50 % discount on mountain lifts in the Berner Oberland and Luzern areas, and only 25 % on the trains above Wengen. It is very expensive, but The Half Fare Card still gives the same discount except it still gives 50% for the trains above Wengen and for a lot less money. The Half Fare Card also gives 50 % discount on regular trains. It costs 120 chf for adults.
When you get the free Family Card with your Pass or Half Fare Card, your kids under 16 ride free when they are traveling with you.
You can buy them on line at www.sbb.ch, at the airport train station, or from the Rick Steves website in US$ at close to the equivalent exchange rate.
