Switzerland on a whim! Where to go in late-June?

Hi Folks,

My wife and I have an opportunity to visit Switzerland for 4 nights in late June (before flying home from Milan). We will have a rental car, and looking for some advice on where to stay/visit, things to do, etc.

Currently we have an Airbnb in Beckenried. We're not committed to staying there, but we'll have a rental car, and it seemed well situated to Lucerne (15 mins), Interlaken (60 mins) and Grindelwald (80 mins).

We're not looking for anything fancy (dining wise), and while we're up for a bit of adventure, we prefer this trip to be more laid back where we're not always on the go to see all the sights.

Are you renting the car in Italy or Switzerland? If in Switzerland, drop it in Switzerland and take a train to Milan to avoid exorbitant international drop fees. If in Italy, be sure to purchase a Swiss Vignette sticker (40 CHF) and attach it to the windshield when you get to the border.
