Switzerland in March for Honeymoon

Hi,
My wife & I are heading to Switzerland in late March 2018. Here is our accommodation itinerary

Night 1: Lucerne, Villa Honegg
Night 2: Lucerne, Villa Honegg
Night 3: Lucerne, Villa Honegg
Night 4: Interlaken, Victoria Jungfrau
Night 5: Interlaken, Victoria Jungfrau
Night 6: Interlaken, Victoria Jungfrau
Night 7: Zurich

We are interested in some local sight seeing, trekking, visiting Mount Pilatus, Jungfrau and other scenic locations. Please suggest things and can do and how/from where shall we cover these places.

Can you also suggest if we should rent a car considering the high taxi prices. Is it work taking the Euro Rail Pass?

Thanks in advance for all the help and suggestions.

Shravil :)

aggarwals, The Victoria Jungfrau in Interlaken is about the most upmarket hotel you can get. Interlaken is in a wide valley, facing the Jungfrau. Most people stay further up in the Alps, for example Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Wengen Mürren.
see this "map" to help explain the local geography: http://www.regionalpass-berneroberland.ch/assets/karte-und-partner/Regionalpass-Panoramakarte-2017.pdf

Do not rent a car. This area is better explored by train and lake boats. In the map I linked to above, red lines are railways, black cable cars, yellow buses. Places like Mürren and Wengen cannot be reached by road.
Equally do not get a Eurail pass. It is to expensive and does not cover the lines past Interlaken.
Instead either get a Swiss Pass (details here: https://www.sbb.ch/en/leisure-holidays/travel-in-switzerland/international-guests/swiss-travel-pass.html ), or s Swiss half price card and buy tickets at half price.

Places to visit from Luzern: take a trip on the lake, take a cable car up Titlis (website: https://www.titlis.ch/en )

I decided my post sounded snarky so I deleted it.

Sounds like a quite a trip. My only visit to Interlaken and Zurich was too long ago for me to offer any practical advice. But I would definitely consider staying in Lauterbrunnen over Interlaken - based on the scenery.

The problem with trekking in the mountains in March is that there will either be snow or mud on the trails (all except the all weather ones which isn't most of them).

The road between Mürren and Gimmelwald is open all year. Cable cars shut down for maintenance in the off-season, usually April, but check. March will likely be the end, the tail end or just past the end of the skiing season.

I read your post but please clarify if your intention in March is to hike around the mountains or just ride the train up the Jungfrau?
