Who is the best tour company to go with on the Grand Train tour of Switzerland? What time of the year is the best to go?

Since there is basically no need for guiding, and since it is quite easy to figure out train reservations for the few legs that require them (Bernina Express and Glacier Express), I am not sure that you need a tour company for that one!
As for best times to go: probably early June to end September, bearing in mind that high summer can be very busy. If you have an interest in winter activities, Jan to March could be nice too - but you would have to modify the route, spending less time in lowland areas that aren't nice in winter.
