Switzerland Austria Germany Itinerary/Train

Hello. My husband and I are flying into Zurich 9/13. Train to Murren (3 nights). Train to Lucerne (1night). Train to Salzburg (2nights). Bus or train to Hallstatt (1 night). Bus/ train to Salzburg then train to Munich (2 nights).
Would any Swiss travel passes help with price to just do point to point? Will be using scenic lifts in Murren. Would Lucerne to Salzburg be included in Swiss pass or not since going into Austria.
Also, advice on Hallstatt vs Wolfgangsee for 1 night.
Is there enough to do in Salzburg for 2 nights?
I know 2 nights in Munich is short but have been there before and just wanted to hit Oktoberfest while close.
Thank you!

Just noting that you might be underestimating the travel times between these places. Mürren to Luzern will take 3 hours or so, leaving you only half a day there. Luzern to Salzburg is about 7-8 hours by train, leaving you only one full day of being there. And you have to count the time of getting to and from rail stations, checking in and out of hotels, connections and waiting for the train, etc. Distances are deceiving looking at a map - the mountains make travel slower than you'd think.

Someone else can answer about the passes, but generally they cover you to the last stop within that specific country, and you have to buy a ticket from there on.

Swiss travel passes will only cover travel in Switzerland. You would need to buy a ticket from the last station in Switzerland to your destination in Austria.

I’ve spent 10 nights in Salzburg and would go back in a heartbeat. You won’t even scratch the surface with 2 nights, especially considering it’s almost 7 hrs by train from Lucerne, so you lose almost a full day in travel time.
