I am travelling through Switzerland during the Christmas break till mid January 25. I I have booked 4 nights in Zermatt followed by 3 nights in Wilderswil. Following that staying in Lucern for 4 nights and Sorenberg for 4 nights. Therefore, have booked till 6th January. Rest of trip I am trying to book now.
I am travelling with my son & daughter who are both under 24.
My first problem is buying a travel pass, we all have swiss passports as well.
Most tourist travel pass is for 15 days but I thinking we are going to need something longer or could we travel on a Swiss general travel pass even though we do not live there?
I know I need to reserve tickets to travel during this Christmas break but do I need my travel pass first before reserving tickets?
You can purchase the one month GA even if you do not live in Switzerland. As you have probably already seen there is one for adults and one for under 25 year olds.

It seems that you are staying at each location for a very short time, despite having a long holiday. Is there a specific reason for that?
