Swiss Travel Pass question

Hi, I am newbie to the forum. Need information about Swiss Travel Pass and it's use...

  1. Swiss Travel Pass website says I can get a STS Family Card for my 11 yr kid to travel free with me. Does the STS Family Card extends all the benefits of the travel pass to the kid e.g. travel travel to Schilthorn etc. for free?
  2. I saw the 2019 Swiss Travel Pass includes travel to Schilthorn. Does it mean it includes all fares for travel all the way to Schilthorn? e.g. bus, train, Cable Car etc?
