We are planning a two-week trip to Switzerland in late June. Is there any advantage to purchasing the 15-day Swiss Travel Pass online prior to leaving the U.S. versus buying the pass at the train station upon arrival in Switzerland?

There will be a sale on Travel passes starting April 15. I believe the sale runs for about a month.
When purchasing from home in 2021, I had a copy of the pass on my phone and I printed a hard copy, therefore no stress about losing it. The electronic copy went into my Apple wallet. I'm not sure if the train station site can give you an electronic copy. Also- If your plane would be terribly delayed, you could possibly arrive after the SBB store has closed.
