Swiss Travel Pass

As I understand that purchasing the Swiss Travel Pass, you have free access to trains, buses, lake cruises, etc. How do you make train reservations using this pass or do you even need reservations. Confused on how to use this pass for travel such as the Interlaken Express from Luceren.

You do not need train reservations in Switzerland except for special touristic trains, like the Glacier Express, Bernina Express. Gotthard Panorama Express. These tend to be pricey, since they are more like special supplements for added services, like panorama carriages, headsets with multilingual description of the sights, table service at all the seats. IC trains have seat reservations available for 5 CHF each, other trains have no seat reservations at all, since they are more or less commuter trains.
