Does anyone know the difference between the 8 consecutive day pass and the 8 day (epass) Swiss Travel Pass?

Because it is printed at home, the e-pass is also pre-validated with your specific travel window and passport number. You must also provide date of birth for each traveler. (These "features" may also be coming to the "regular" paper pass sometime in August.) See also http://www.ricksteves.com/travel-tips/transportation/trains/switzerland-rail-passes (bottom of the page).
