Swiss travel pass

If you purchase the Pass ahead of time, you will need to provide a start state. You can always purchase the Pass in Switzerland anytime at most train stations.

I will be going next year but having to change because of COVID and available time, narrowing it to either May or August.
I was hoping I could take advantage of the 25% discount.that ends in a couple days. Thank you.

Unfortunately, that won’t work. Pre-dating at the time of purchase is currently a major difference between the Swiss Travel Pass and Eurail-brand passes for other countries (which can be activated within 11 months of purchase).

So, even if you are not able to set your dates in the next couple of days and take advantage of the sale price, you will still get a good deal if purchased next year.
