We'll be in Switzerland July 9-13 and am still confused doing the math and passes.
Start in Zurich to Murren to Lucern to Zurich airport. (Two nights each Murren and Lucerne).
We will go up Schilthorn and boat rides in Lucerne. Is the 4 day Swiss travel card our best deal? It seems about the same price as individual tickets. Am I missing something?

Add up all your ticket costs and if it is more than 240 CHF, then the 120 CHF Half Fare card will pay off. Also, if you are Switzerland for 4 nights, you have 5 travel days.

If you get the 4-day consecutive Swiss Travel Card, then you'd make it valid July 9-12, expiring at midnight. The trip that's not covered within that time would be Luzern to Zurich airport on Day 5, at a price of 30 CHF per adult.
