Swiss Passes if you are renting a car

Hello, trying to go back and read other people's questions so sorry for more questions on this subject...if you are not taking trains as your major mode of transportation does the Swiss Pass help enough on the lifts or is there a better pass to get for them? I get how it works for trains but not necessarily how it works for the lifts and special high mountain trains where you cannot take a car.

We are going to be in Switzerland for 15 days spending a couple of days in all the main cities/regions. We are renting a car and will not be taking trains with the exception of the "specialty" trains to get to the top of mountains. We will be using a ton of lifts in all the major areas:

Luzern - Pilatus and Rigi
Berner Oberland - 4 days exploring the area (Schlithorn, Junfrau, Gimmelwald, Murren, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen)
Zermatt - Glacier Paradise, Rothorn, Gornergrat

I think on your other post, we concluded that a Half Fare Card is the way to go. The Swiss Travel Pass usually gives that as well, for a whole lot more money.

That is what I thought, but I was talking specifically about Berner Oberland in that post. I agree the Half Fare Card seems best.
