Trying to register for a Swiss Pass can’t get past log in details any help would be appreciated

SwissPass is not just for locals. I have a SwissPass account number and I am hardly a Swiss local. Confusing, but SwissPass is not a pass, but really just an account number. The SwissPass Card is pretty much only for locals since it has to be mailed to you at a European street address.
I have had it for a few years, but I don't recall any difficulties getting registered.

The SwissPass is helpful if you are a resident or, like Sam, travel to Switzerland frequently enough and want to load various passes onto it.
You can only load passes that residents of Switzerland might also have - half fare card, ski pass, GA travel card.
The Swiss Travel Pass is available to visitors only - residents can not purchase the STP, and it can not be connected to the SwissPass.
If you are buying a Swiss Travel Pass to travel around Switzerland during your vacation, there is no point in doing the work of getting a SwissPass - you would have no use for it.
