Swiss Pass or BO Regional Pass (Basel>Luzern>Interlaken>Murren/Gimmelwald/Lauterbrunnen>Basel)

Hi.

Family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids aged 13, 11, 2). Will be in swiss for 6 days in July and wondering which pass to go for.
The travel pattern will be BASEL > Luzern (3 nights - Mt Pilatus / other sites) > Interlaken > Murren / Grimmelwaldv/ Lauterbrunnen (cable cars) > back to Basel.

In general, will swiss travel pass be better or BO regional pass. Which card has more coverage for our planned areas of visit/activities.

Appreciate an advice.

But with the 8-day STP, it covers Luzern to Engleberg, then half fare to Titlis. The BO pass is only half fare to Engelberg from Hergiswill, just outside of Luzern. It fully covers the Schilthornbahn, as well as Basel to Luzern and Bern to Basel.

The Half Fare Card may indeed be less money out of pocket in the end, but if you want a real answer, you need to add up all the costs for all your planned trip each way, Half fare, 8-day STP and 6-day BOP. Then you will know the answer for sure.
