Swiss pass discount on Glacier express

We want to travel in Glacier pass in July this year from St Moritz to Zermat. Need help with a few clarities:
1- Is there any discount on Glacier express ticket, if we buy the Swiss pass for four days?
2- If we start from Chur instead of St Moritz , will we miss on the good part of the journey. Or what would be the best town or place to stay to catch the St Moritz train in the morning.

Thanks
Shah

A Swiss Pass will fully cover a ride on the Glacier Express, but you will still need to pay the mandatory seat reservation fee of 33CHF.

You can make reservations up to 90 days ahead.

If you start in Chur you would be adding length to the journey, not skipping anything. I would prefer to spend the night in St. Moritz and begin the journey there as it is already a pretty long day.

Where will you be coming from to get the Glacier Express? The stretch from St Moritz to Chur is known as the Albula Line and has a number of 360 degree loops to gain (or in the direction from St Moritz to Chur, lose) elevation in the mountains. It is just a part, not necessarily the best, but an interesting part. It also includes the famous Landwasser Viaduct which is featured on many a Swiss travel poster.
