Going to Switzerland and Germany in august 2022, stopping in Switzerland for one day, train to Germany for 12 days, then back to Switzerland for 10 days. Plan to buy swiss pass for 8 days. Is the 8 days consecutive days, or 8 days out of month? Will pass cover part of train to Germany? Thank you.

You can get either an 8-day (consecutive) pass for 389 CHF, or an 8-day Flex pass, good for 8 days within one month, for 409 CHF.
