Swiss pass

There used to be a pass that covered Switzerland entry and exit only. Is this discontinued? Is there any other pass that would allow this amount of travel?

There was such a pass some years ago; I think it was called a Swiss Transit Pass. It covered your travel from the Swiss border or airport to your first destination, by the most direct route, and then travel back to the border or airport on your departure day. It was discontinued but I do not recall when.

The closest thing now would be a 3-day Swiss Pass covering 3 consecutive days of travel for 232 CHF, or a 3-day Flex pass covering your choice of 3 days within a 30-day period. These can cover all your travel by train, Postbus, or boat on your covered days, not just a single trip. You also get 50% off the fare on mountain lifts and cogwheel trains above the villages ( with an exception for the Jungfrau which is discounted only 25% above Wengen or Grindelwald).
