Do the math. If you are using more than 240 CHF in fares per person, the half fare card pays off.

I should also note that the hotels of a number of Swiss cities give their guest "visitor cards" that include benefits like free local transportation and various discounts. We visited Luzern and Klosters-Davos and both gave us the free Visitors Cards. In the Klosters-Davos area we could take the train between the two villages free of charge.

TRANSPORTATION

Rhaetian Railway: Unlimited travel (2nd class) on the line Klosters
Dorf –Davos – Filisur with holiday address Davos. Unlimited travel
(2nd class) on the line Saas –Davos – Filisur with holiday address
Klosters or Saas. Not valid for guests with holiday address in Küblis.
The guestcards are not valid in the Bernina and Glacier Express.

Local bus Klosters-Serneus: Unlimited travel. To Saas only with
holiday address in Klosters or Saas. (Line 90.231: between Mezzaselva
and Küblis apply the normal Rhaetian Railway tariffs).

Local bus Davos: Unlimited travel on the local bus lines.

You can use the Swiss Half Price Card to reach both Schilthorn and Jungfraujoch. You can actually download a very detailed map on the SBB web-site that marks all the routes covered by the card. Just click on "map of validity" on your right.
