Hello,
I was told that I could get a Swiss Half Fare card for 120 Swiss Franks. But when I look on the SBB website I only see the 185 price that is an annual pass. Am I looking at the wrong site? Did they raise the price?
Also, how do I request a family pass for my kids?
Thank you.
Susan
You need to look at the SBB pages for tourists rather than residents. The Half Fare for tourists is 120 Swiss francs but is only valid for one month instead of a year (which is the one for 185 available to residents)
And the Family Card is free, you just check the box saying you want one when you place the order for the Half Fare Card.
Or you can buy the Half Fare Card at the first train station you use in Switzerland -- took me 10 minutes in Lausanne, then bought our train tickets to our final destination at half price. Need passport for each HFC you are buying.
