Swiss - German Rail Pass Questions

Our family will be making a trip to Germany and Switzerland in early June. It two adults and two kids (11 and 8). It has been many years since we have done the rail stuff in Germany or Switzerland, so I am trying to wade through all the options to see what might work best. Here are our rough plans on where we would be travelling by train.

We'll be in Munich from June 1 and departing on June 6.
We'll be in Interlaken June 6 and departing on June 11.

Munich S-Bahn from airport to main station
Potential day trip to Salzburg from Munich
Potential day trip to Fussen from Munich
Travel from Munich to Interlaken.
Plan is to do a lot of hiking in the areas around Interlaken with a day trip up to Jungfrau if the weather permits. So assume a lot of train rides in the area.
Finally the train from Interlaken to Zurich airport on June 11.

For Munich I know about the Bayern Ticket option for travel after 9am, so Germany might be able to take care of itself if we're willing to wait until after 9am for those day trips.
Switzerland is a little more difficult to plan for as we're potentially going to be riding a train for all 6 days we are in the country. Am I better off going with some kind of straight Swiss pass and buy a ticket from Munich to the border crossing? Other options I might consider?
