We will have a Swiss Flexi Rail Pass and are wondering about using it for mountain tram discounts. Is just having the pass good enough to be eligible for the discount, or will using it for this reason require us to use one of our pass days?

All coverage and all discounts are only available when using one of the counted travel days on a Swiss Travel Pass Flexi. This is different from how Eurail passes work (and how Swiss passes used to work). On your other thread, I suggested a Swiss Half-Fare Card instead.
