Just wanted to report that we could purchase our Swiss Family flex pass at the train station at airport on our arrival, and that it has been AMAZING! Has covered every train, bus, funicular, castle and museum we have visited. Highly recommend it!

is that that card that kids under 16 ride for free or something else? Did you purchase adult Swiss passes in advance?

Agree! The Swiss Junior travelcards are also great! They are 30 CHF per child (ages 6 and up) and are good for a year. They work on the buses, boats and trains and also worked on the special train going up to the Matterhorn viewing area.
