Am taking Switzerland 12 day tour in July. Rick’s travel list includes bathing suit and towel. Is there anywhere to swim on this tour or can I leave my suit home? Thanks!

Which hotel are you using in Lugano? How about Bern? We just finished this tour June 21st. We took suits but didn’t use them. However, we’re older so we don’t default to that in warm weather. I would check the weather right before you leave. They’ve had a lot of heat this summer and it gets sticky.

Swimming in the river in Bern is a thing very popular with the locals. So if you think you might enjoy that… Also quite a couple of cities are on the shores of pristine alpine lakes that can still be warm enough to swim in the summer.
