Supersaver x Travel pass for 6 train trips

Hello everyone, I will spend 10 days in Switzerland next month and I'd like to ask what is the best option for my 6 train trips around the country. Using the site www.sbb.ch I got these Supersaver prices:

day 1 - ZÜRICH FLUGHAFEN - GRINDELWALD: CHF 50.40
day 3 - GRINDELWALD - WENGEN (round trip): CHF 106
day 4 - GRINDELWALD - ZERMATT: CHF 55.20
day 6 - ZERMATT - GENEVE: CHF 48
day 8 - GENEVE - ZÜRICH FLUGHAFEN: CHF 45
Total: CHF 305 or 400 Canadian dollars

In comparison, the 8 days travel pass costs USD 399 or 495 Canadian dollars.

Is it worth buying the individual Supersaver tickets in this case? I see the travel pass gives free public transport which I will probably use in Geneva and Zurich.

Thank you in advance.

You've done your homework. One issue I see, is that your arrival at Zurich airport is not 100% guaranteed to be on time. Your ticket to Grindelwald is train specific and nonrefundable, so it might be advisable to just buy it normal price for of 84 chf. A day transport pass in Zurich or Geneva will be about 10chf. So now you are up to 304.60 + 33.60 + 10 + 10 and you are at 358 chf and just shy of the 363 chf 8-day Travel Pass. Add in if you want to take one of the lifts in Zermatt which the Travel Pass gives a 50% discount and a free museum or 2 in Geneva or Zurich, and you might as well go with the 8-day Travel Pass. You will be locked in to specific train times with the Supersaver Tickets, so the freedom of using the Travel Pass whenever you want, tips the balance in favor of the pass.
The other option is to get a one month Half Fare Card for 120 chf. Even this will only save a few chf over the Travel Pass.

Good point, I wasn't considering the museums and the piece of mind of having a more flexible schedule, I will take the travel pass. Thank you for the help.
