We are currently in sunny Murrin enjoying hiking in the Berner Oberland. We spent two nights in Luzern and will be here for a total of 6 nights before taking the train to Zermatt in a few days. Unfortunately the weather forecast looks like rain is forecast for the day we arrive in Zermattt with cloudy/possibility of thunderstorms for the remaining days. We can still cancel our reservations, but not sure where else in Switzerland we might enjoy and also be able to find last minute reservations. We have a nice hotel booked for Zermattt. . Suggestions?

I'm afraid my post was unclear. We are currently in Murrin and will soon travel to Zermatt. I have read that if the weather is poor there is little to do there. I guess my question should be: Should we skip Zermatt and go elsewhere, or are there things to do in Zermatt if the weather has low visibility? We had hoped to hike.
