Suggestions around Hotel Lavaux in Cully?

Happened to book this sweet spot on Lake Geneva with awesome mountain/lake views but restaurant (which is amazing) is pricey Cold breakfast $18 a person!! We have tried finding some place down the road on our way for long drive but aren't finding much besides maybe McDonald's. Is breakfast not a very important meal for Swiss?

Unless you're in the UK, breakfast really isn't a big thing in most of Europe. Because of this you won't really find breakfast places or restaurants that serve it like you find in north America. People tend to eat a small breakfast of bread with coffee and in some countries they add meat and cheeses and sometimes a little fruit. In hotels you'll often have more options including cereal and eggs sometimes depending on the clientele.
In Switzerland I think you're lucky to get breakfast at a hotel for $18 especially right on Lake Geneva!
