My husband and I are heading to Murren and trying to decide best location either Eiger Guesthouse for 2 nights with shared bath or Sportschalet 3 night own bath? Also not sure if 3 nights is best or just 2. Were spending a total of 8 or 9 nights in region 3 Wildersvil 3 Grindlewald and then 8 nights in other regions.

I can’t help but ask you again why you want to stay in three different villages that are all so close together? Wilderswil is 10.5 miles from Grindelwald, Mürren a similar distance.
There was once a post here talking about how much time you loose when changing hotels, and it is a considerable amount. With three changes you will waste a lot of time!
If you are hoping to wake up to a different mountain view then I would at least eliminate Wilderswil.
Maybe you have a good reason (a free stay with relatives or something like that) but otherwise you might regret that you spent most of your time just changing hotels. :-)

They are in almost the exact same location. Like a 1 minute walk from each other. So pick which one you like best for non-location reasons.
And I would agree, unless you have a strong reason to be switching so much you’d really be better off just picking 1 of those 3 spots. The trains/cable cars are so efficient that you can easily travel between all 3 for “day” trips. Every time you move you lose at least half a day and often end up having to store luggage while you wait for your room to be ready. You don’t lose that much time simply training to the location you want to visit for the day.
Or if you feel you must move, do Grindlewald and Mürren. Wilderswil is a go between spot.
