I would go for a hike. But if that does not interest you, consider taking the train over Bernina Pass to Poschiavo and back. It does not have to be the named Bernina Express train; regular regional trains use the same tracks and have the same views. Spend some time in Poschiavo--- maybe lunch?--- before returning to St. Moritz.

Hands down the Bernina Express and go all the way to Tirano for lunch. It is without doubt my favourite trip and I do it a couple of times a year. For lunch I usually find: Ristorante Pizzeria Vittoria offers a good meal at reasonable prices.

Yes, that would be great, only we are coming into St. Moritz from Torino on the Bernina Express. We need to know the absolute best excursion to do in St. Moritz while we are there the next day. Which is the best lift? or in anyone's opinion, the best town to explore. Thanks so much for the above answers so far!
