We plan to go to Spiez after completing a portion of the Bernese overland traverse and relax one day before moving onto montreux. Any suggestions where to stay reasonably priced Also any suggestions on attractions

Also wondering if we should go to lauferbrunnen or wengen instead of spiez since we end our hike in murre n. We then travel to Montreax then to chamonix then fly out of Geneva. Would love any suggestions

I spent a week in Spiez in 2022. It was okay but certainly didn’t compare to the Lauterbrunnen area, where I had spent the previous week. I would highly recommend Wengen.

If you are taking the Golden Pass Express to Montreux then this one leaves from Interlaken. You can easily wind down in Mürren or Wengen or Lauterbrunnen, and then go down to Interlaken and onwards to Montreux.
