Skiing in Grindelwald area

I have read the information about ski passes in this area to exhaustion, but cannot decipher whether your ski pass gives you access to the trains that get you to the lifts/gondolas. I am starting from Grindelwald Village.

The only train you might use is the one that runs from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg, and yes, the ski pass covers this. Otherwise, if you're staying within the village, you would walk or take a bus to the lifts for Grindelwald First and Männlichen. The station for the cogwheel train to Kleine Scheidegg is very close to the lift to Männlichen. You can ski down from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg. The pass also covers the train from Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg, but you probably won't use it.

If you wanted to ski above Mürren, the ski pass covers all the lifts on that side as well, including the gondola from the Lauterbrunnen valley. I don't know if it covers the series of trains you would need to take from Grindelwald, however. And if you want my opinion, I found the skiing on this side a little disappointing, whereas the slopes accessible from Grindelwald are some of the best I've skied anywhere. Particularly Grindelwald First.
