How’s the ski season this year? Heading to Lauterbrunen March 5 for a week then to Saas Fee.

I was in Saas Fee exactly one month ago. Conditions were good then. Snow has been on the light side this year in the Alps, so I do not know how the Berner Oberland is doing. The high resorts like Saas Fee and Zermatt are in good shape, at least high up.

Hate to say it, but you might want to do a snow dance or two....
As noted, the upper elevations are still good (I was in Austria and France the last couple
of weeks), but due to higher temps, spring conditions were happening farther down, and
of course that means melting and maybe freezing. Hopefully they will get more snow
before your trip, but they could use a lot.
Most ski resorts have webcams these days so you can have a look for yourself.
