Where's the best place to rent skis in the Wengen area? Is it necessary to reserve now or can I wait till next week when I get there?
Anybody have a report on how the conditions are?

We rented at Molitor Sport on Dorfstrasse (main street). I see also Skiset Wengen, Central Sport, and Alpia Sport + Mode on the same street. They should all have plenty of equipment. I even rented a parka at Molitor when I left my jacket on the IC train from Zurich airport. I thought I would never see it again, but at my wife's prodding, I located it on the Lost & Found page of the SBB website. They delivered it to Wengen station 24 hours later for a 10 chf service charge. As the Scottish clerk at Molitor said "The system works. Try it."
